“Jo is amazing, incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. When I first saw Jo I had knee pain and foot pain when running even a short distance. I did not think they were connected and had visited my doctor and given NHS inserts to wear all the time in my everyday shoes to try and help but it didn't. After detailed examination Jo made some insoles specifically 4 me. I now have no pain , my race times have improved dramatically and am now training for my 9th marathon. Thanks Jo wouldn't be enjoying my running pain free without your help.”

“I have been running for many years and I have always wanted to run a marathon. During my training for the Dublin marathon I developed achilles tendonitis which resulted in many weeks and then months of treatment by physios. After acupuncture, and off -the -shelf orthotics, I was allowed to run again, but the achilles tendonitis came back and I also had calf pain, which meant that I could not run at all. I decided to see Jo as I heard and knew from many runners at my running club, that she was an excellent sports therapist and podiatrist.
Within a few seconds of watching me walk, Jo knew immediately what the problem was. She made me custom-made orthotics and after many weeks of treatment with her, I was able to run again.
I completed my first marathon last year and am now training for the second. I have not had any problems since and this is all down to Jo's knowledge and skill. Thanks Jo!”

“I have had treatments and sports massage from Jo for over ten years and have always found her consistent and helpful. The frustration of injury is eased by knowing I have Jo to turn to. Treatments are backed up by sensible advice regarding returning to training and I highly recommend her.”

“Although I only started running for fun, it wasn’t long before I joined a club and started thinking about improving my times. The trouble was, every time I started to get my training up to where I wanted it I would start to get knee pain. Sports massage helped the recovery, but I knew it would return just as soon as I increased my training volume again. Each occurrence took months to get over, and I was ready to give up on running. Then someone in the club told me about Jo, and I booked myself in. I am still amazed at the how Jo managed to identify the cause of all of my problems and craft me my first temporary insoles all in the space of a 30 minute appointment. I’ve been wearing insoles from Jo for several years now, and in that time I’ve never had a recurrence of my problem and I am able to train to the volume and intensity that I want. My times have come down at all distances from 5K to Marathon, but above all I am able to continue participating in the sport that I love.”

“Jo has kept me running throughout a number of minor and not so minor problems. The cause of significant hip pain was diagnosed and cured within only a few sessions and continues to be trouble-free. As an athlete herself, her expertise in podiatry/sports therapy is greatly enhanced and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.”

“I first went to Jo when I developed an injury from running. I found Jo's friendly professionalism very reassuring and was impressed at how she assessed the situation. Through regular physio and sports massage, combined with superb insoles for my running shoes I have been able to make a full return to running. Jo continues to provide excellent advice and support - I would highly recommend a visit to her!”
